Rebecca Silus was born in Minneapolis and received her MFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2008. She has shown her work at the Katherine Nash Gallery and the Soo Visual Arts Center in Minneapolis and the Duluth Art Institute. Her work has been collected both locally and nationally, most recently by TRIA Orthopedic Center in Bloomington, Minnesota and Microsoft Corporation. Her work has been featured in Open Studios Press’s 2004 New American Paintings, Tarpaulin Sky Literary Journal and Toward a Livable City, a Milkweed Editions publication.
